Meet Andrew Peck, the teacher for this studio.

Andrew is an advanced pianist trained in the classical tradition, holding an ATCL in Performance from Trinity College London, following this he was one of the few New Zealanders to study performance under the concert pianist Thomas Hecht. He is also experienced in other styles, including modern popular music, church worship, and blues.

Andrew brings extensive teaching experience, having worked with children and teenagers in Auckland schools as well as in private lessons. After completing music teacher training through the Music Education Centre in Auckland’s North Shore and teaching thousands of lessons across classical and modern styles, he relocated to the Wellington region to settle down with his family.

Today, Andrew teaches from his Lower Hutt studio. Inspired by the Music Education Centre model, the studio features a comfortable waiting room for parents and students, alongside a dedicated piano teaching space.
